SOBER GRAD INFORMATION
The EU Sober Grad Committee will host a drive-thru fundraiser with the Texas Roadhouse on Monday May 12th. Tickets are $10 in advance and will consist of rib/chicken combo, beans salad and a roll. If anyone would like to purchase tickets they can contact Bonita Burks at (209) 808-4488
Ticket are still available for $40 until May 28th. Tickets purchased the night of the event will be $45. Permission slips and funds may be turned into the administration office and left in the Sober Grad box.
We have a full night of events planned including a DJ, hypnotist, video game tournaments, Gavora Hair Studios, Leonard Photography, Henna tattoos, lots of food and plenty of gifts and prizes for all who attend.
We are still in need of volunteers for the night of the event. Anyone interested can contact me (Bonita Burks) by phone at (209) 808-4488 or attend one of our upcoming meetings on May 13th and May 27th at East Union in room #2 at 6pm.

Note: Education Code section 37254 requires that the following notice be posted in the school office of each school serving students in grades 10-12, the district office, and on the Internet website of the school district. The notice must comply with the translation requirements of Education Code section 48985.
NOTICE TO PARENTS/GUARDIANS AND PUPILS:
STUDENT ELIGIBILITY FOR ASSISTANCE IN PREPARING FOR THE CALIFORNIA HIGH SCHOOL EXIT EXAM AFTER GRADE 12
Parents/Guardians and Pupils:
Pursuant to California Education Code section 37254, you are hereby notified that:
- Pupils, including English learners, who have not passed one or both parts of the California High School Exit Examination (CAHSEE) by the end of grade 12 are entitled to receive intensive instruction and services for up to two consecutive academic years after completion of grade 12 or until they pass both parts of the CAHSEE, whichever comes first;
- English learners, who have not passed one or both parts of the CAHSEE by the end of grade 12, are entitled to receive services to improve English proficiency as needed to pass those parts of the CAHSEE not yet passed for up to two consecutive academic years after completion of grade 12 or until they pass both parts of the CAHSEE, whichever comes first; and
- Pupils, who have not passed one or both parts of the CAHSEE by the end of grade 12, have the right to file a complaint regarding intensive instruction and services under the Uniform Complaint Procedures if he or she was not provided the opportunity to receive intensive instruction and services for up to two consecutive academic years after completion of grade 12 or until they pass both parts of the CAHSEE, whichever comes first.
