San Joaquin County will be forced to cut nearly $100 million. Students and schools did not create this budget problem, and their progress should not be undermined because of it.
Please do not suspend Proposition 98, funding proposition for our schools.

| Great Valley Wins The Championship Game! |

Congratulations to all the students who participated in the MUST Flag Football Playoffs. We had a great turnout for the Championship game on Wednesday. Many friends & family members were their to support their teams. It was an Excellent game, but in the end the Great Valley Bruins took the championship by defeating the Shasta Hornets!!

Manteca Unified Schools are participating in the Mix it Up program which works to reduce prejudice and improve intergroup relations in schools by supporting students' efforts to identify, question and cross social boundaries. Some of our schools will be organizing lunchtime activities where they will encourage students to cross the lines of division and meet new people and make new friends at their school. By working together, students and teachers can create real change in schools!!

August Knodt volleyball team celebrated Tuesday night after winning over Joseph Widmer. Both teams played a great game, but in the end August Knodt claimed the Championship.

Come to this informative session where you will learn how to understand the IEP forms used in the San Joaquin SELPA’s districts. You will gain an understanding of each of the areas on
the IEP forms so that you will have a greater understanding of your child’s individual education program (IEP).

The district is teaming up with the nonprofit Manteca Unified Student Trust in hopes of raising as much as $1.5 million to match a career technical facilities state grant of $1.5 million they hope to acquire to make needed repairs and renovations to the aging property at Airport Way and Louise Avenue near Manteca. |
