San Joaquin County will be forced to cut nearly $100 million. Students and schools did not create this budget problem, and their progress should not be undermined because of it.
Please do not suspend Proposition 98, funding proposition for our schools.
Congratulations to all the students who participated in the MUST Flag Football Playoffs. We had a great turnout for the Championship game on Wednesday. Many friends & family members were their to support their teams. It was an Excellent game, but in the end the Great Valley Bruins took the championship by defeating the Shasta Hornets!!

Manteca Unified Schools are participating in the Mix it Up program which works to reduce prejudice and improve intergroup relations in schools by supporting students' efforts to identify, question and cross social boundaries. Some of our schools will be organizing lunchtime activities where they will encourage students to cross the lines of division and meet new people and make new friends at their school. By working together, students and teachers can create real change in schools!!

These students will participate in the county competition on Wednesday, December 3 at the Educational Services Center in Burwood 1 & 2. If successful, they will then continue to the state competition in the Spring.
Students in the Weston Ranch Video Productions Class, taught by Mr Trevino have put together a morning Broadcast on schooltube.com, KUGR. Students will be giving updates on school sports, colleges and much more! Take a minute and check it out!

On Thursday October 30; Participating East Union students gave up their desks and sat on the ground for classes. The Day without Desks is an event held by East Union ’s Humanitarian club. It is a fundraiser for schools that do not have desks. The E.U. students who participated gathered pledges to sponsor their efforts. All they had to do was refuse to sit in a desk the entire day. The Humanitarian club will most likely host another one of these events later in the school year.

August Knodt volleyball team celebrated Tuesday night after winning over Joseph Widmer. Both teams played a great game, but in the end August Knodt claimed the Championship.

the IEP forms so that you will have a greater understanding of your child’s individual education program (IEP).

The district is teaming up with the nonprofit Manteca Unified Student Trust in hopes of raising as much as $1.5 million to match a career technical facilities state grant of $1.5 million they hope to acquire to make needed repairs and renovations to the aging property at Airport Way and Louise Avenue near Manteca.
