| What we want to communicate |
|
The purpose of the Manteca Unified Communication Plan is to present a clear and concise framework for communicating with our school community which is directly tied to our Mission Statement. This plan addresses both internal and external communications and is designed to answer the "Who, What, Where, When, and Why" questions related to communications in Manteca Unified.
Goals of this plan
1. Maintain and enrich internal communications in order to keep all staff informed on issues both current and upcoming and support this communication with ongoing training.
2. Continue using a variety of media to effectively communicate with students, parents, and the community at both the School Site and District levels.
3. Proactively communicate in order to foster trust, understanding, and shared knowledge.

| Board of Trustees: Includes all seven elected School Board Memebers (click here to go to individual e-mails). |

Students: Includes all students K-12 in Manteca Unified and including Preschool and Adult Education |
| Administration/Management: Includes all Certificated and Classified supervisors, managers, and administrators for the entire District. |

Parents |
| Certificated Staff: Includes all teachers, psychologists, speech therapists, and nurses. All are members of MEA. (The representative group for certificated staff) |

Community |
| Classified Staff: Includes all staff who are members of CSEA 50, and CSEA 864. (CSEA) |

Educational Institutions |
| District level Staff: Includes all staff assigned to the District office and grounds. |
