Our Mossdale Staff  

Susan M. Sanders, Principal
Mrs. Sanders graduated from Kent State University and earned her masters degree from Saint Mary's College. Previously, she served as Vice Principal of Sequoia School and as Principal of French Camp School.

"I am thrilled about the opportunity to start a school from the very beginning and look forward to watching it grow, prosper, and mature in the years to come."

Annette Roberts-Murray, Vice Principal
“I always wanted to work with students in a leadership role so I could make a difference and possibly inspire kids to want to succeed.”
She received her B.A. at Sacramento State Univ. in Social Science and then went to UOP and obtained her Teaching Credential and Masters Degree in Education Administration.

She describes Mossdale as,” one big happy and warm family and I would like to thank Mossdale staff and students for the warm welcome I received when I arrived at Mossdale.”

Kathy Rodriguez, Office Manager
Mrs. Rodriguez has been employed by Manteca Unified since August of 2006. Previously, she worked for the Hayward USD for twenty years. She spent seventeen years at the district office in various departments and the last three years at Tennyson High School.

She likes to bake, cook, sew and do scrapbooking and her favorite holiday is Christmas.

Veronica Vargas, Attendance
Mrs. Vargas has been employed with Manteca Unified School District for several years. Before joining Mossdale, she worked as an attendance clerk at Lathrop Elementary and then at the District Office as an Attendance Technician and Zangle Trainer.

When asked about Mossdale she states, “I love working at Mossdale and am enjoying my current position very much!”

Ronnie LeMay, Head Custodian
Before joining Mossdale, Mr. LeMay worked as a custodian at Shasta School and then five years at Stella Brockman School as Head Custodian. He has enjoyed the challenge of setting up a new school and takes pride in making Mossdale Elementary look great.

One can find Mr. LeMay with his special helper, Brown Bear, taking care of Mossdale.

Esther Calderon, Kindergarten Teacher
Ms. Calderon enjoys watching children learn and her favorite part of being a teacher is working with her students.

She holds a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction along with a Reading Specialist Credential from CSU Stanislaus. She has worked for ten years as a bilingual instructional aide and eleven years as a Kindergarten teacher. Her favorite subject is reading.

Regarding Mossdale she says, "I think Mossdale is a great school. There are wonderful staff members, parents and students I enjoy working with."
